When I ran it it just showed a splash screen saying bad logic with a smiley face,  should I give it more time?

Hey, will rebuild the project and upload more recent .apk file this evening, I see there's definitely some problem with it judging by the dude in the comment below having a problem too (although I wish he told me as much as you).
In the meantime, as a workaround you can download Android Studio and build from sources (link to my Github in the description).

I actually rebuild the project right now and uploaded it, also tested on my phone and it works as intended.

I unzipped the previous .apk and compared with the new one - previously I must have accidentally uploaded dummy .apk with the blank libGDX project (this is the reason for the smiley face and "bad logic"), for which I am terribly sorry.

Please let me know if it works.

This is fake.

I'm sorry?

What exactly is your problem?

You don't seem to be keen to elaborate on why you just called my project "fake" and gave it 1/5 stars, so I really don't know how to help you run it.

I can only speculate, that you may have failed to install the .apk file, as there are multiple potential reasons for it - it's an unsigned build so you would have to enable installing from untrusted sources on your phone in the first place. Also, attached .apk is quite an old artifact, Android SDK's and API they support tend to be obsolete quickly, so it may be that it is built for too old Android version.

And this is alright, no one knows everything, so I can't blame you for ignorance. At this point you could have just ask here what's the proper instruction on installing, maybe report your device and particular Android version, maybe attach logs obtained through ADB, or even try to debug the exact reason why it fails to install on your own as sources are linked above on Github.

However, out of all of those possible options, you choose to fart this dumb comment.
